Mike D’Antoni could be forgiven if he sometimes catches himself daydreaming of Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire executing the perfect pick-and-roll. Perhaps he occasionally closes his eyes and pictures LeBron James or some other superstar finishing on the fast break.
